Born and raised in Brampton, Atiba Hutchinson rose from local parks to become the most-capped Canadian men’s national team player in history. With 105 international appearances and a 20-year career across Europe’s top leagues, Atiba captained Canada at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and now serves as a FIFA World Cup 2026 Ambassador.

More than a world-class athlete, Atiba is a community role model whose journey inspired the creation of Fusion Sports Park. His story—rooted in access, equity, and excellence—is the heartbeat of the mission to provide opportunities for youth through sport.
